PTA Volunteer Gift Ideas

Ways to say thank you to teachers, faculty, volunteers, PTA:

·         Wrapping Paper:  Thank you for a year “WRAPPED” of friendship, service, fun, etc.

·         Children’s Books:  Children’s Books are a great way to say thank you.  Find a book that has some meaning and tied to a message.  There are many places that have discounted books.  Some of my favorites are:

·         Post it’s:  “Post-it” on the wall.  This has been a great year!

·         Water Bottle or other drink:  Thank you for making this a great year.  We never had to “Thirst” for anything more.

·         2 Liter Soda Pop “Super Liter”:  Need to get picture

·         Popcorn:  “Poppin’” by to say thank you for all of your service

·         Fleece / Picnic Blanket or Picnic Basket:  This year may not have been a “Picnic” all year, but it turned out to be a great year.

·         Push Pins:  Thank you for “Push”ing through the year and giving it your all

·         Cutting Board / Loaf of Bread:  Thank you for not “Loafin’” around and no matter how I cut it you did a great job!

·         Pot w/ Pens with Flowers on them:  Thank you for helping our students / children “Blossom” this year

·         Hand Soap with Transparency Saying inside of it:  Instructions for how to do this

·         You can attach a hand towel to it, also.

·         Brownie Mix and Pampered Chef Mini Serving Spatula:  Thank you for the “SWEET” year and for “SERVING” in a great way.

·         Markers:  Thank you for making your “MARK” on my child’s life this year.

·         Photo Album:  You can get a small photo album and put pictures of the class activities in the photo album.  Then you can take 3 x 5 cards and have your child write a note to the teacher.  You can even have other students write notes on 3 x 5 cards.  This will create a nice memorable gift for teachers or volunteers.

·         Stamps / Stickers:  Thank you for “Sticking” it out with us this year or Thank you for making your “stamp” on the year.  It won’t be forgotten.

·         Candy Lei’s:  Put instructions and link to Ebay or tubing.  This is a fun way to recognize those that you are working with.  In Hawaii the Lei is a symbol of appreciation and love.  These can be made inexpensively.

·         For our faculty appreciation week we have different themes for each day that the students can bring things for their teachers.  This is what we have:

·         Also, it’s important to remember the other faculty and staff at the school.  It takes everyone to make a school run well and everyone likes to be thanked.
